Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism is a serious offense and undermines the integrity of scholarly publishing. At Review Journal of Neurological & Medical Sciences Review, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing practices. To maintain the integrity of our journal and ensure the originality of published work, we have implemented the following plagiarism policy:

  1. Definition of Plagiarism:

Plagiarism is defined as the act of using someone else's ideas, words, or work without proper acknowledgment or permission and presenting them as one's own. This includes, but is not limited to, copying verbatim text from another source without quotation marks or proper citation, paraphrasing someone else's work without appropriate attribution, and self-plagiarism (reusing significant portions of one's own previously published work without citation).

  1. Plagiarism Detection:

All submissions to Review Journal of Neurological & Medical Sciences Review undergo a rigorous peer review process, during which our editorial team utilizes plagiarism detection software to screen for potential instances of plagiarism. Authors found to have engaged in plagiarism will be subject to appropriate actions as outlined in this policy.

  1. Actions Against Plagiarism:

If plagiarism is detected in a submitted manuscript, the following actions will be taken:

  • Immediate Rejection: The manuscript will be immediately rejected, and the authors will be notified of the reasons for rejection.
  • Notification: The authors' institution(s) and funding agencies, if applicable, will be notified of the plagiarism incident.
  • Blacklisting: Authors who have been found to have engaged in plagiarism may be blacklisted from submitting future manuscripts to Review Journal of Neurological & Medical Sciences Review.
  • Retraction: If plagiarism is discovered in a published article, the article will be retracted from the journal, and a notice of retraction will be published prominently on the journal's website.
  1. Author Responsibility:

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their submitted work and for properly citing sources when using the work of others. Authors must also avoid self-plagiarism by disclosing any overlap with their previously published work and providing proper citations as necessary.

The editorial team of Review Journal of Neurological & Medical Sciences Review is committed to upholding the principles of academic integrity and will diligently investigate any allegations of plagiarism. Editors will make fair and impartial decisions based on the evidence presented.
